Bringing a Home to Life

The Inspection

During our inspection, we discovered that the client's deck was in a very poor state. The wood had begun to rot, the posts at ground level lacked the corresponding footings, and many of the details did not meet the local building code requirements for decks. This could potentially be a hazard, and we recommend that corrective action should be taken as soon as possible.

The Process

The project began with the total demolition of the existing deck and the installation of a new structure of pressure-treated wood pine #2. After that, we excavated the necessary holes for the new concrete footings and buried the new posts. Subsequently, we constructed the deck substructure and, finally, installed the railings and decking boards.

The Result

Seeing the final result, the client felt overjoyed and confident to use the deck with his family without worrying about any potential risks.
