The Inspection

Upon arriving at the property in Fairfax, we carefully evaluated the condition of the existing exterior shutters on both the first and second stories. We safely removed the old shutters and their worn plastic spikes, paying close attention to the underlying brick siding. Our team thoroughly inspected the existing mounting holes to ensure they were structurally sound and at the optimal depth to securely anchor the new installations without compromising the brickwork.

The Process

To deliver a clean and durable exterior upgrade, our team prepared the brick by sealing mounting holes with DAP Platinum Patch for a solid base. We then installed 16 grey raised-panel vinyl shutters using 3-inch Easy-Loks spikes. A precise gap was maintained for proper airflow and moisture prevention, while edges were sealed with OSI caulking for added protection and a seamless finish.
