The Process
After clearing the site, a 12' x 12' area was defined with new sole plates. The shed frame, made from pressure-treated wood, was enclosed with 4' x 8' plywood and wrapped for weather protection. The roof was prepped with underlayment felt and finished with asphalt shingles. A wooden double gate and exterior walls were clad in James Hardie planks for durability and aesthetics. Inside, V11⁸ roof panels were added for a polished look.
The Result
The completed 12′ x 12′ x 7′ shed mirrors the original footprint but features significant upgrades. High-quality materials like pressure-treated wood, James Hardie planks, and asphalt shingles ensure durability and low maintenance. V11⁸ interior roof panels and a new double gate add style and functionality, making the shed both sturdy and visually appealing.
