This Annandale, VA home’s aging aluminum siding needed a modern upgrade. To ensure a lasting transformation, our team completely removed the existing siding and housewrap across all four sides of the house. Once cleared, we thoroughly inspected the underlying wall sheathing to guarantee a structurally sound foundation before installing the new, advanced weather barriers.
The Process
To provide a clean, contemporary look with top-tier weather resistance, our team installed 1,075 sq ft of premium James Hardie Artisan V-Groove siding. This trim-free profile creates a significantly sleeker, modern appearance. Underneath, we applied JH Housewrap and flashing tape to establish an advanced moisture barrier. For a highly durable roofline, we replaced 30 linear feet of fascia with matching fiber cement boards. Finally, we installed custom aluminum window capping sealed with exterior-grade OSI Caulking, protecting the existing wood trims and enhancing the overall visual appeal of this Annandale home.
