The Inspection

Upon inspecting this property in Alexandria, our team identified significant areas of rust and chipping across the existing metal roof. To ensure a flawless restoration and a long-lasting result, we began the project by thoroughly cleaning the entire roof surface. We carefully scraped away all the compromised, rusty sections, preparing a solid and clean foundation for the comprehensive revitalization of the structure.

The Process

Our strategy focused on fixing existing issues and preventing future damage through a detailed restoration process. We treated rusted areas with metal roof cement and sanded the surface for a smooth base. Then, we applied a Henry Fibered Aluminum coating for a watertight, reflective finish that improves energy efficiency. We also used Kynar 500 finishes for added protection and replaced the drip edge with a custom 3” x 3” solution to ensure proper water runoff.

The Result

The home now boasts a fully restored metal roof with a brilliant, highly durable finish that is guaranteed to keep moisture out and withstand the test of time. By addressing the root causes of the rust and applying a top-tier aluminum coating system, we significantly extended the lifespan of the property’s exterior while enhancing its curb appeal.
