Improving the aesthetic appeal of a fence
The Inspection
Upon initial assessment, the project involved the removal and replacement of specific sections of an existing wooden fence. The task required the dismantling of four full-size panels and two smaller panels adjacent to the gate, which were found to be in need of updating.
The Process
The renovation began with the careful removal of the old panels. Subsequently, new post holes were dug, and 80 Lb of concrete mix was poured to secure the new Pressure-Treated (PT) Wood posts, measuring 4 inches by 4 inches. Following the setting of the posts, four new full-size fence panels were crafted using 1'' x 6'' wooden planks in a board-on-board style, covering a total span of 11 linear feet with a height of 6 feet. Additionally, two smaller panels were assembled and installed on either side of the fence gate to ensure a consistent and polished appearance.
The Result
The project culminated in a robust and aesthetically pleasing wooden fence, enhancing both the security and the visual appeal of the property. The new fence sections, totaling 11 linear feet in length and 6 feet in height, were constructed with high-quality materials and workmanship, ensuring longevity and durability. The smaller panels flanking the gate were seamlessly integrated, completing the fence’s transformation. The result is a testament to the meticulous planning and execution of the renovation, delivering a superior outcome that meets the client’s expectations.
