The Process
The two-day project began with sanding, power washing at 1500 psi, and protecting adjacent siding with plastic sheeting. One railing panel was reinforced, and six walkway boards were replaced. After a 24-hour drying period, an oil-based Behr premium transparent stain was applied on Day 2 using sprayer, roller, and brush, with two coats followed by a 48-hour curing.

The project successfully revitalized the deck and walkways, improving both aesthetics and durability.
