Time For New Shutters
The Inspection
We discovered that some of the existing shutters were broken and others were coming loose from their mountings. Upon further inspection, it became clear that the deterioration of the materials, both for the shutters and the spikes that attached them to the cladding of the house, was the source of the problem.
The Process
We removed all the shutters and the spikes that held them in place from the house. To ensure a better grip for a longer period of time, we created new holes and installed the new shutters with nails for added stability.
