The Inspection

We discovered an area of the siding that had been damaged due to a malfunctioning gas fireplace vent cap. This was very concerning to the client, not only due to the unsightly appearance, but also the possibility of wood damage behind the siding. In the end, the client made the decision to replace the entire area with new siding that matched the existing one, including the outside corners.

The Process

To replace the siding, the first thing we did was identify the type, style, and color. Upon removing the entire damaged area, to our surprise, we discovered that the house wrap underneath the siding was also damaged. After conducting a thorough inspection of the area, we re-wrapped the house and installed the new siding panels.

The Result

The client was delighted to see that the new area had been completely renovated, and was even more pleased that we were able to find and install siding panels that perfectly matched the existing ones. Other contractors had suggested that the entire siding of the house be replaced due to their suppliers not having the necessary materials in stock, but we were able to provide a far more satisfactory solution.
